Study Skills for Parents Workshop $40pp
Tuesday, March 28th from 9:30 - 11 AM
Are you tired of nagging your child to manage their study time? Are you concerned about increases in work load and responsibilities in higher grade levels? Do you want to help guide your child to be able to do their best…on their own? Then this workshop is for you! Parents join us to learn how to equip your child to have better study skills, to develop study plans, and learn to develop independent study strategies. This workshop is for the parents only. There will be a Study Skills workshop option for children ages 12 & up for students whose parents have attended this workshop previously. This workshop will most benefit parents of students who are 3rd grade or higher. This workshop includes 30 minutes of question/answer time at the end.

Feeling overwhelmed or unsure about 504 and IDEA? Join Sara Furlich for a quick overview of 504 and IDEA. Learn to navigate through the process of 504 and IDEA in order to better advocate for your child's needs and accommodations.

Learn your child's challenges & how to develop organization systems that work for your family. Does your child struggle to complete tasks on time? Is following directions difficult? Does your child have great intentions but the planning and execution are lacking? This workshop will help you learn the importance of organization & planning, how to create systems for success and that lower stress, and build skills & develop good habits. Join us to learn how to help him plan better, get organized, and complete tasks. This workshop includes 30 minutes of question/answer time at the end.

For parents whose children struggle with task completion, organization and staying focused. Sara Furlich, our presenter, will help you learn practical tools to help your struggling child become more confident and organized. Lower the stress levels in y our home and your child with practical, easy to use strategies.
